If the kale we use in our dishes is locally-sourced, does it taste better? We think so. We’re proud to partner with local farmer Leroy Fisher of Country Hill Farm in Kinzers, PA for the kale you’ll find on the menu at our Philadelphia-area restaurants. We connected with Leroy through our friends at The Common Market, a nonprofit regional food distributor with a mission to introduce communities to good food from sustainable family farms.

On the rolling green pastures of Ronks, PA, in Southern Lancaster County, Abner King and his family run the King Family Farm. On this 36 acre farm and dairy they handcraft their creamy and wonderful, Greek-style Pequea Valley Yogurt—named for the Pequea stream that borders the farm.

honeygrow is proud to serve Pequea Valley Yogurt in any honeybar orders, as chosen by each guest, to ensure the most delicious yogurt to complement our fresh fruit and toppings.

Now that a real winter has finally hit the East Coast, the ground is frozen and every morning you wake up with frost on your windows. One begins to wonder how you’ll survive without your summer farmer’s market around the corner.

Sticking to local produce in the winter is difficult, which is why we pride ourselves at honeygrow by working the tastiest seasonal items into our menu and still sourcing locally. The biggest hits right now are apples and kale, solidifying the decision of our two winter smoothie flavors.
