hello Tysons Corner! today marks the grand opening of our third northern Virginia honeygrow location—located at 8399 Leesburg Pike in the new Pike 7 expansion in Vienna, VA. hgTysons joins our Pentagon City + Reston locations just outside of Washington, D.C. Our newest location will be open daily from 10:30AM until 10:00PM and features outdoor seating with patio lighting plus plenty of free parking.
inspired by the fresh, bright, natural ingredients found on the honeygrow menu, Philadelphia artist, Tim Gough, took to designing a piece to add even more exciting color to our new Marlton, NJ location. Accentuated by the expression "wild, wild, life", Tim's mural challenges the viewer to form their own unique connection to the piece, and in turn, the space itself.
our newest location in Pittsburgh's East Liberty neighborhood is many things: a salad spot, a noodle joint + a space port. Yeah, that's right, a space port…with a mermaid…eating noodles. Brian Holderman is the Pittsburgh-based artist responsible for the gorgeous mural consuming an entire corner inside of our twentieth location. He specializes in pairing retro graphics with futuristic ideas, all while bringing a bit of the steel city along for the ride.
upon entering our Fishtown HQ, you'll be greeted by two vibrant murals created by Philly-based contemporary artist, NDA. As longtime fans of NDA's work in Philly + beyond, we approached him for these internal pieces because we felt he could deliver thought-provoking, unique artwork which would help continually inspire the creativity which we, as a company, thrive on. The murals, complete with his signature silhouettes, impossible objects + abstract designs, delivered just that.
upon entering our new 11th Street location in Philadelphia's Midtown Village you'll immediately notice the large, vibrant mural completed by Martha Rich. Featuring colorful characters proclaiming even more colorful remarks (some of which Martha had overheard while eavesdropping at our 16th Street location), this piece provides a wonderful splash of energy to the space.
New York has no shortage of artists, which made choosing just one featured artist for our new Brooklyn location almost impossible. . . so we chose two! Complimenting the beautiful architectural design by our friend Jennifer Carpenter, sits a breathtaking mural by reknowned artist Rubin415, accompanying several photos from Joseph Michael Lopez (editor's note: blog coming soon!).
each of our locations feature a different artist local to the area—it's our way of further connecting with the community + reflecting its importance in honeygrow's story. Our Chinatown DC location is the first to feature a bright, sprawling mural running the length of one of our walls.
through an ever-increasing presence of public, street and community art, Baltimore is redefining + improving upon its perception + reputation, further reinforcing it as a city built on love + community. One of the key figures in this art movement is Michael Owen, creator of the renowned Baltimore Love Project.
