we're excited to announce the return of our original, iconic stir-fry container — available now at all locations!

when brainstorming the return of the stir-fry box, we wanted to elevate it beyond just a container for our stir-fry. We wanted the box to, in some way, represent the creative elements + artistic pairing of flavors you'll find inside once you open it up while sending a motivational, empowering message. Hence, for the first time ever, our collaborative artist series was born!

we teamed up with Baltimore-based photographer, Ian Bell, to bring our new Rockville location to life. Ian's background is a mixture of music + photography, pulling inspiration from both mediums for each project he pursues. He often ends up marrying the two practices together when he hits the road on tour with a band—playing a set one night, shooting photos of performers the next.

our newest location in Pittsburgh's East Liberty neighborhood is many things: a salad spot, a noodle joint + a space port. Yeah, that's right, a space port…with a mermaid…eating noodles. Brian Holderman is the Pittsburgh-based artist responsible for the gorgeous mural consuming an entire corner inside of our twentieth location. He specializes in pairing retro graphics with futuristic ideas, all while bringing a bit of the steel city along for the ride.

layered approach: James Weinberg

upon entering our new location at the base of the new Viridian development in Fenway, you'll immediately notice two murals, which add some prehistoric vibes to the already historic area. James Weinberg, the artist behind the Jurassic-inspired visuals, is a Somerville-based artist who excels at blending shapes + colors together to create expressive, intricate + unforgettable images. We met with James to learn more about his work + inspiration, all while touring Somerville, visiting some of his public pieces which added pops of color on an otherwise gray, dreary New England day.
