Founded by Justin Rosenberg in Philadelphia in 2012, honeygrow brings people together over the highest quality, wholesome, simple foods. As a newly converted proponent of a plant-based diet and tired of the mediocrity in both food and experiences presented by many of the older + emerging fast dining options, Justin decided to leave the cubicle world, train in a fine-dining kitchen, and pursue a life that spoke to his passion:

To work at hg, our people need to have a fine-dining mentality and appreciation: you must be able to read a ticket, quickly assemble and cook ingredients, ensure accuracy, make the meal gorgeous, and consistently keep things clean. On top of this, we expect you to spread your positive enthusiasm to our guests.
Stepping further on the “who”, our vendors and food partners are no different than those of your favorite fine-dining restaurants. We spend a lot of time sourcing and reviewing our ingredients to ensure an awesome flavor.
In a little over five years, we’ve been beyond fortunate to open in cities outside of our hometown and into areas like Chicago, Boston and the NYC metro area. We are continuing to expand beyond these regions.
To support this growth and our people in the field, we decided it was time to finally have a place that we can proudly call our “HQ”. It’s been an awesome ride having offices ranging from JR’s home to our small start-up spot in Center City, but it was time to find a place where we could train and embolden our teams, export our creative output, and integrate with a local community that we could authentically connect to.
Discouraged by the lack of options in traditional office settings, we stumbled upon an abandoned warehouse space in Fishtown, Philadelphia. Just a shell, we saw the potential and about 18 months later we can now call our HQ a home that is truly our own. With our own state-of-the-art Commissary, Test Kitchen and open offices, our HQ is our Echo Base for all things honeygrow.
From day to day operations to training for new team members, our HQ is the bustling epicenter of our creativity.
